As I begin my last year in my 30's I am filled with joy and gratitude
Gratitude to My heavenly Father
"Jesus sought me when a stranger
wandering from the fold of God;
he to rescue me from danger,
interposed his precious blood"
I pledge to embrace the wrinkles, to count each laugh line as hard earned
Each stretch mark as a reminder of the blessing of motherhood
To count my blessings of family daily, to cherish, forgive, and love BOLDLY
To tell my friends, often, how much their friendship is a gift I treasure
To strive to live more humbly and selflessly and without fear.
To patiently wait without worry for yet to be answered prayers
To count every breath as a blessing
Thank you Lord for this day!

Happy Birthday Polly! I hope you have had a very blessed day! You are a blessing to so many and I am glad to have met you.
ReplyDeleteYour kids sure are smoochy!!! Happy birthday, Sister Friend. I'm so happy I know you.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! Love the words to the song, brought back memories from singing in the choir from the "Red Book."
ReplyDeleteA VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU (a little late!!!)
ReplyDeleteYour kids are so adorable--I pray that you had a wonderful day!!!! I just ended my 30s and turned the big 40 in March and I was/am just so grateful to be alive. That doesn't mean that I don't wish my rear-end was firmer, my face was smoother and that I still had the energy of a 20 year old--but life is such a blessing. I know you feel the same!!!! I can't wait til I meet you in person (I can't believe we've already been here since February and we're leaving for home on October 1st!!!)
Again, a late, but sincere, Happy Birthday!!!
hugs/blessings,
Lana
